Government Contracting and Acquisition
Higher Learning Commission
About the Program
The Bachelor of Arts in Government Contracting and Acquisition is an online undergraduate degree program that prepares individuals for careers in United States (U.S.) Federal government contracting. In this program, students complete simulation-based scenario assignments developed from real-world case studies. Being that the American Public University System (APUS) – which includes American Military University (AMU) and American Public University (APU) – is a National Contract Management Association (NCMA) education partner, the program is modeled on the NCMA Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK), making it an ideal program for individuals who plan to seek NCMA certification (e.g. CPCM, CFCM, etc.) upon graduation.
American Military University (AMU) – as part of the American Public University System (APUS) – is regionally-accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a U.S. Department of Education- and Council for Higher Education Accreditation-recognized accrediting agency.
As such, AMU programs are eligible to receive various forms of financing from public and private sources, including: Federal Student Aid, Military Tuition Assistance, Veterans Benefits, Employer Contributions, Scholarships and Private Loans, and Self Pay Online.
